Abstract

Considered the physical processes that characterize the stressed-deformed state of the cardan flange. For this in SolidWorks provides a general methodology for building a solid model of a flange and in SolidWorks Simulation selects its material, fasteners, applied loads, creates a mesh of finite elements, determines Mises stresses, resulting displacement, equivalent deformations, and margin of safety.
