The article reveals the content of the main legislative and regulatory documents governing the professional training and retraining of civil servants in Ukraine, taking into account the needs of the labor market, socio-economic, socio-cultural and political changes in the state and society. Theoretical and applied aspects of the development of professional and digital competence of civil servants in the system of lifelong learning, due to the rapid digitalization of the economy, the transition from offline to online mode of finance, public administration, education, etc.
