Abstract

 The article presents current facts about the negative influence of tobacco smoking on the human health. The problem requires the solution as the amount of smokers is increased in our country from year to year. The consequences of smoking can cause considerable harm to the smokers and to people around them. The structure of tobacco smoke was considered. The negative influence of the most dangerous components of tobacco smoke, particularly Cd and 210Po, was described.
