Abstract

The work is devoted to the problem of soil contamination with heavy metals as a result of missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of missile detonation on the chemical composition of the soil. It was established that explosives and missile residues cause local accumulation of toxic elements, in particular lead, cadmium, chromium and copper. The ecological risks to the environment are assessed and the need for monitoring and further remediation of contaminated areas is emphasized.
