Abstract

The study is devoted to the analysis of the dynamics of the total cloudiness of the sky within the Volyn Upland during the last decade (2014-2023). The analysis was conducted using data from three weather stations: Volodymyr, Lutsk (Volyn region) and Rivne (Rivne region), located on the axis of movement of the prevailing air masses. According to statistical analysis and evaluation using remote sensing methods, a decrease in the annual cloudiness of the sky by 0.5-0.6 points was detected, which is most pronounced in the warm period of the year. This trend is a favorable factor for the expanded use of solar installations in the region in the near future.
