Abstract

 In the study examined aspects that reflect the innovation of a global manifestation. The base survey were OECD, EU countries outside the OECD, BRIC countries and five ASEAN countries with the greatest economy. In terms of 2000 and 2009, the years were analyzed input and output streams of payments for technology analysis and trade in high-medium, high-tech products, analyzed the amounts funded in R & D activities abroad. The analysis of these indicators were found in which the role of serving the country in the global innovation network, respectively, producer or consumer knowledge of the manufacturer or market knowledge-intensive products and evaluated in terms of attractiveness for the location of research activities. A scheme of changing roles of states in 2009 compared with 2000.
