ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN CIS COUNTRIES: ISSUES AND PROSPECTS OF MODERNIZATION

Abstract

 Contemporary imperative of world civilization is the modernization of the economy and social life, bringing them into line with the new conditions of globalization, the transition to the modern technological structure and innovative post-industrial "knowledge economy." The problem of modernization of the economy is of particular relevance for Ukraine, Russia and other CIS states as initial conditions of modernization in the Commonwealth are far below the European Union, the USA, Japan and China. In the political and historical context of modernization should be aimed at correcting errors revolutionary reforms of the past and avoid repeating them in the future.
