Direct impact of the South Korean TNCs on the development of national economy (as a country-based parent company, and the countries where branches are located). The modern features of global value chains formation in the context of the state support to specific sectors of the national economy. The peculiarities of support for small and medium businesses in South Korea are analyzed as a part of the process of transnationalization. Priorities of modernization of the economic system of Ukraine in terms of transnationalization and global TNCs cooperation with national ukrainian companies are determined.
