ANALYSIS OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN USABILITY AND QUALITY IN THE USE OF SOFTWARE PRODUCTS BASED ON THE STANDARDS SERIES SQUARE

The article is devoted to the research of the relationships between the concepts of "usability" and "quality in use". Based on a series of standards SQuaRE, quality models are analyzed, in particular, usability is considered in two models: directly - in a model of software product quality; indirectly - in a quality in use model. Ontology of software quality models is built. It is concluded that usability is a subset of quality in use. Within the analysis of the connections between usability and quality in use the appropriate measurement models are built,considering measures proposed in the working versions of the standards ISO / IEC 25022 and ISO / IEC 25023. The necessity of specifying the list of usability measures, which are most closely related to the quality in use subcharacteristics such as effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction, is underlined. It is proposed to use a hierarchical structure of software product usability developed by the author.References
