Abstract

The international community no longer regards Spain through the prism of its multi-faceted culture, traditions and national characteristics. All attention is focused on the difficult political and economic situation in the state. Spain is one of the countries that have so far suffered from the effects of the global economic crisis 2008. Therefore, it is very important for the country to support and develop its already existing brand "Spain", the perception of which affect interstate relations of the country with other subjects of international relations and its common position on the world stage. Because Spain is one of the best examples of repositioning the state with the help of creating a national brand, the analysis of this process will help to identify the main tools of effective country branding
