AVIATION AND SPACE CENTER AS AN EXAMPLE OF AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE SKILLS AND TALENTS IN EXTRACURRICULAR EDUCATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of extracurricular education in the formation of creative abilities, scientific and practical skills of children and youth. Special attention is paid to the Aviation and Space Center of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth (ASC) as an innovative educational platform. The legislative basis, concept and significance of extracurricular education in Ukraine are analyzed, the main areas of activity of the ASC, its structure and achievements are outlined. Methods of developing creativity, integration of science and practice, as well as preparing students for future professional activities are considered. The prospects for the development of extracurricular education and the need for its support at the state level are determined.
