Abstract

 The factors having an effect on the system of air transport in the Republic of Lithuania in connection with Lithuania’s membership in the European Union are discussed. The structure of the system of air transport of the country is presented, an analysis of the current situation and a strategic analysis of the development of the system is made, and the measures addressed at the long-range perspective are proposed.
