PROBLEMS OF DEFINING THE STRUCTURE OF PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE TRANSLATER OF THE AVIATION INDUSTRY

The paper considers the fact that the formed communicative competencies important for various specialties. The author justifies the professional communication of the translator on the basis of three components: interlingual, intercultural and interpersonal. To contemplate the significance of a competent approach for the training of qualified translators in the field of civil aviation, an analysis of the results is carried out pertaining to the studies performed by Ukrainian and foreign researchers on professional (communicative) competence.

PROBLEMS AND FEATURES OF THE CLASSIFICATION OF AVIATION TERMS OF THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

The article deals with the problems and peculiarities of the classification of aviation terms of the Ukrainian language and the modern development of Ukrainian aviation terminology. The research of well-known domestic scientists on the mentioned problem, such as T.M. Dyachuk, OV Kovtun, L.A. Khalinovskaya, AA Romanchenko and others. Particular attention is paid to the classification of aviation terminology, its normalization and the specifics of formation. The generalizations and conclusions about the existing problems in the Ukrainian aviation terminology are made in connection with the peculiarities of its formation and the influence of the Russian-speaking tradition.

ENGLISH ELEMENTS RENDERING IN TRANSLATION OF GERMAN JOURNALISTIC TEXTS INTO UKRAINIAN

The article deals with the peculiarities of the English elements rendering in translation of German journalistic texts into Ukrainian. The authors classify lexico‑semantic approaches of translation of English elements and analyze the frequency of their use. From the results of the case study conclusions are drawn as reference to the reasons for the use of certain translation approaches.

STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC TYPES OF INNOVATION IN THE LANGUAGE OF MODERN MEDIA

The article deals with linguistic innovations selected from modern periodicals and electronic publications. The general tendencies that characterize the contemporary Ukrainian literary language, in particular in the mass media discourse, are emphasizeds. It has been found out that there are many innovations that have new forms and meanings, for example: bot, timlid, thrash, cash; as well as there are innovations in which the form is old, but lexical-semantic structure has expanded due to the emergence of additional lexical-semantic variants: «Green printer», social elevator, E-baby. Multistructural neologisms function in the language of the mass media. Among them those tokens are productive that are formed by the prefix method of word formation, the special valence is marked by prefixes with reduced semantics: de-, pseudo-, nedo- etc.

SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF WORD-FORMING VALUES VERBAL ADJECTIVES IN MODERN GERMAN

The article deals with the problem of semantically motivated verbal basis of adjectives, which are a unified class of generative foundations of microsystem in word-forming system of modern German language with its peculiarities only. Of great interest in this regard is the question of how the resolution of the contradiction between the verbal essence and the nominalized adjective affects the semantics of verbal formations, as the ambiguous lexical and grammatical nature of this type of adjectives manifests itself on a syntagmatic level.

LANGUAGE ECONOMY IN GERMAN BY EXAMPLES OF COMPLEX AND SHORT WORDS

The article deals with features of formation and development of language economy in German. The direct tendency to save is directly expressed in the ratio of the used linguistic means to the volume of information. Therefore, the starting point of the study of economics in this case is the reference to the fact that word formation and the formation of short words are important means of linguistic economy. Thus, in this work, the author pays attention to such ways of word formation as the formation of complex and short words, which tend to be economical in order to distinguish clear models of their formation. The article distinguishes such classifications as semantic-syntactic, structural and morphological.

In the article we discuss about the features of the application of the concept of SOUL in the novel by Lina Kostenko "Berestechko". The aim of our study was to establish the peculiarities of the functioning of the concept of the soul in Lina Kostenko's novel "Berestechko", the nucleus of this concept. The proposed Studio is an attempt to implement linguoculture analysis of the printed advertising from morphological and syntactic views and with the given violations of the norms of modern Ukrainian literary language, and the impact on readers with the help of linguistic means.

Theoretical foundations of advertising texts, namely the concept of advertising, types of advertising texts and their structure are considered. The printed advertising texts in such aspects as morphological, syntactic are analysed according to the observance of the norms of modern Ukrainian literary language. linguistic means can influence the readers.

WAYS OF RENDERING PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS OF THE NOVEL “THE MUSEUM OF ABANDONED SECRETS” BY O. S. ZABUZHKO IN ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Ways of rendering phraseological units of the novel “Museum of Abandoned Secrets” by O.S. Zabuzhko in English translation are examined in the article. The material of the scientific research was a novel “Museum of Abandoned Secrets” by O.S. Zabuzhko and its English translation. The main productive ways of translation of phraseological units in literary text are determined, such as: use of full equivalent, use of partial equivalent, loan translation or descriptive translation. The analysis of the specific material showed that the least productive way of translation is loan translation

“THE DA VINCI CODE” IN THE NOVEL “IMEN” BY ADALBERT ERDELI

The article deals with the problem of various media synthesis (including painting and literature) in the work of the universal type artist Adalbert Erdeli. His novel “IMEN” is analyzed through the author’s philosophy of art. One can trace the convergence of the aesthetic code of the talented Transcarpathian artist, the Florentine genius Leonardo da Vinci and the British aesthete Oscar Wilde. It is noted that such a convergence in the artists’ creative works is unveiled by the portrait genre.

THE NATIONAL-HISTORIOSOPHICAL CONCEPT OF «GENUS AND HOUSE» IN THE B. KRAVTIV'S WREATH OF SONNETS «DZVENISLAVA»

The article deals with the national-historosophical concept of «Genus and House» in the wreath of sonnets of Bohdan Kravtsiv «Dzvenislava» (1962). It has been investigated that the authentic «sources of the family», its genetic code, and the antheistic nature that B. Kravtsiv poetizes in his ethnomental, historical-philosophical discourse, form the national and philosophical basis of the concept. The individual memory of the history of individual Ukrainian families in the work of emigrant writers has been transformed from the point of view of historical existence into a national memory of the indigenous memory of the Ukrainian «Genus and House».

FATAL SYMBOLS IN THE STORY “SPRING IN FIALTA” BY V. NABOKOV

The article aims at revealing fatal symbols which penetrate the text of Nabokov’s story «Spring in Fialta». The plot represents a sequence of accidental meetings of the heroes. One of them became final. Heroine’s death was foreshowed by the text symbols scattered in the text. Research results can be applied in “World Literature of the XX century”, “Modern American Literature”, “Philosophy of Literature”, “Literary Text Interpretation”, “Introduction to Literary theory”.

THE WOMAN’S FATE IN THE SOVIET SOCIETY (BY O. SLONOVSKAYA'S ROMANS)

The article is devoted to the study of the place of women in socialist society on the example of heroines from works of art; the effect of the state ideological apparatus of coercion on women, psychological reasons and consequences of subordination of personality to the system of dictatorship at the level of family, society, and state are considered. It is revealed that Soviet women (the heroine of the novel) lived predominantly on socially approved role models. The lives of those who resisted were marked by tragedy.

THE ARTISTIC EMBODIMENT OF THE SOCIAL MYTH IN M. KULISH’S PLAY «ETERNAL MUTINY»

The article deals with the problem of artistic embodiment of social myth in the play «Eternal Mutiny» by Mykola Kulish. The playwright reflected in the text the social myth of the 20-30s and showed some aspects of the then society. Through the prism of irony, he reflects the totalitarian system, debunks its social myth, and depicts the pressure of Soviet power on the masses. Whereas the features of Soviet ideology were reproduced both on the pages of «socially ordered» literature and on the stage of the Soviet theater, M. Kulish tried to reach the audience through his plays and influence the formation of human consciousness.

CONTEMPORARY WORKS BY INDIGENOUS WRITERS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA IN THE LIGHT OF POSTMODERN CRITICISM

The article deals with the problem of using the philosophy of postmodernism in the critique of indigenous prose through the prism of the inner perception of the text canvas with intention to reflect cultural worldview and worldview. The views of researchers on the the concept of "trickster" in the literary paradigm are outlined. The main criteria that characterizes the postmodernity of the indigenous literary text are highlighted; the characteristics of the postmodernity concepts are compared to the traditional gender paradigm of indigenous cultures; theoretical foundations have been developed for further literary analysis; a contextual analysis of the nonlinearity problem in the Native American world is conducted
