ECONOMIC SELF-DETERMINATION OF THE YOUTH AS A PROBLEM OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCE

Abstract

In the article the results of theoretical research of the main scientific approaches to the study of economic self-determination of young people are analyzed. The study made it possible to determine that economic self-determination (as a type of self-determination) for young students is one of the most important tasks at the appropriate stage of life. Economic self-determination as a psychological formation is self-determination of the person in the economic environment with a view to achieve the optimal position in the system of economic relations based on its attitude to socio-economic conditions, as well as representations about meaning and purpose of life, life principles, values, ideals, expectations and potential opportunities.
