Abstract

The problem of joint oscillations of a liquid and rigid elastically suspended damping ribs in a tank having the form of a rectangular parallelepiped is considered. A system of equations is drawn from which it can be seen that for a certain choice of parameters one can obtain a significant gain in damping. The Simulink model is constructed, which allows obtaining characteristics about the processes occurring in the tank. The aim of the paper is to describe such a mathematical model of damping of fluid vibrations with n elastic ribs in tanks, which has sufficient reliability, accuracy, simplicity and efficiency.
