Abstract

The algorithm of attitude determination on the base of axis and angle rotation computing is suggested. Was assumed the known the projections of the normalized vectors in the reference and in the body coordinate systems. The problem is to determine the unit vector and the angle of rotation of the coordinate system connected to the body relative to the reference coordinate system. Comparison with algorithm QUEST is fulfilled. It was shown that the accuracy of proposed algorithm is equivalent to the accuracy of algorithm QUEST.
