Analysis of approaches to forecast landslide processes

Abstract

Major problems related to soil slip are investigated in this article. The peculiarity of forecasting of soil slip is a formalized approach which takes into account geological, tectonic, geomorphological, geophysical, meteorological, hydrologic factors. The forecasting of exogenous geological processes as a rule is executed on the basis of regression model. The recovery of regression (polynomial) models is based on the certain algorithm class, this is why it's needed to answer the question which exactly numerical method should be taken as a basis for the creation of regression model.
