CIVIC EDUCATION IN THE KREMENETS LOCAL HISTORY MUSEUM: NEW APPROACHES AND CHALLENGES

Abstract

The article explores modern approaches and challenges in civic education implemented at the Kremenets Local History Museum. Specifically, it examines innovative methods for engaging educators and learners in active participation in socio-political life, as well as interactive teaching practices that foster the development of civic competencies. The educational concept developed by the Kremenets Local History Museum, aimed at building civic competence, is presented as an experimental model of collaboration between the museum and educators. The concept is designed to extensively integrate the potential of the museum into the educational processes of academic institutions. Examples of successful events and projects implemented by the museum, which contribute to fostering active civic engagement among the region's residents, are provided.
